Amarillo The Latias

Alright, here is another member of Lloyd's team, and probably one of my more favorite members for him I've designed so far, this is Amarillo the Latias.
Like I said before, I skipped over Gen 3 of Pokemon entirely, missing Hoenn and the Kanto remakes, and to be fair looking back on Hoenn's legendary Pokemon, I found them to be rather lackluster.
None of them really stuck out to me in the "Oh! I gotta have it!" kind of way, not even fan favorite Deoxys did it for me.
But then I watched The fifth Pokemon Movie; Pokemon Heroes and saw Latias, that was the game changer for me as I loved the way that cute little dragon looked, it wasn't enough for me to get a game from Gen 3, but she peeked my interest in Pokemon again.
So, I put her on Lloyd's team, and as much as I love the color red, I find shiny Latias with her yellow color and pretty green eyes, more charming to look at.
As for Amarillo's outfit, I again just kinda let my mind wander for a bit and pieced things together, into some punky-pop look with orange, blue, and purple.
I think it fits her bubbly personality as I tried to go for cute with her. 
Amarillo turned out very nicely, and I'm glad I used these colors for her, because man they fit her.


Lloyd's Notes:
Behold, the airheaded, bubbly, hyper, "little kid" of my team Amarillo, my Latias, and a shiny one at that too.
I find it ironic as how I found her wasn't the happiest of sights to see.
During the final week of Hoenn's Pokemon League in Ever Grande City, a very powerful typhoon was spotted roughly Southwest of the facility at, heading right towards them at 77 MPH.
The Nurse of the Pokemon Center urged the trainers to stay in the center until the storm died down over passed over, but of course you can't tell hopeful champions what to not do, so they ignored her and headed out to Victory Road.
Having read the weather report early today, I figured we'd be called in today, and dammit was I right...
I headed out with my team of Kamina, Venus, Siren, and Smeagol to go and rescue those boneheads stupid enough to tempt mother nature and her fury.
When we go there, luckily most of the trainers headed back into the Pokemon Center, soaking wet and cold, but not hurt; however, the braver ones were inside the caves of Victory Road, as the "future champ" Wallace, sent his Milotic to get help as he and a few others were stuck in the cave.
The male Milotic lead us to them, to my surprise, they weren't bad hurt, a few scrapes, but nothing serious.
I had Kamina lead them back, as his heavy body could shield them against the harsh winds, I was about to follow right behind him until I heard the faintest "help me" in my ears.
But the weird part was it wasn't a scream echoing through the caves, it sounded like a dying whisper in my ears that only I heard.
I rushed towards the sound of the voice as my teammates followed me in confusion.
I found myself near the exit of the caves and the soft sounds of arguing coming from the east where I was standing.
To my horror, I saw what looked like the corpse of a Latios, holding crying a baby Pokemon, while a member of Team Magma and Team Aqua argued over who'd get the baby with guns drawn at each other.
The Magma member then said, "If I can't have this baby, then no one will!" as he forced the gun on the baby's head.
Not wanting to see child murder, I sent in Smeagol to claw those bastards in the face, with Venus behind him pinning them in a vice grip with Audrey.
Siren got the guns and broke them into piece as I walked over to the dead body to examine just what killed him.
As I expected, multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, and broken wings, they must of beaten the poor Latios badly before he finally died to his injuries...
The baby was a little Latias, she was crying her lungs out, but she was okay, just a little dirty from mud and dried blood.
I picked her up to calm her down, and she seemed to do so after I rocked her back and forth in my arms.
Around her necklace, I noticed a orb that was glowing with some odd energy, I didn't know what it was but I could hear that voice again, saying "Please take care of my little sister for me".
We reported back to the Pokemon Center to confirm everyone got back safely and then reported back to base.
As we were on our way back to base, I did some research on that mysterious orb around her necklace and stumbled across the Soul Dew, a powerful orb that boosts the power of a Latios or Latias, it also stated that the Soul Dew can contain a soul of a deceased member from the family.
And then it hit me like a ton of bricks as my heart sank...
That "voice" I heard in my head was this little baby's older brother spirit calling out for help to save his sister, as he was too hurt to do so.
I told myself to not bring this up to anyone but myself...

As the years passed after I found Amarillo, or "Ammi" for short, she grew into quite the cute little dragoness.
Amarillo is very happy go lucky and finds fun in whatever she do, even if it could be something mundane like washing the dishes or doing laundry.
Her child like innocence is truly infectious as she can bring anyone's mood from grey and gloomy, to bright and happy by just being around her.
In battle, Ammi is quite feisty, she has the incredible psychic abilities that she is able to control by herself very well without much training at all; I'd almost go to say she is the strongest member on my team, well, if she could beat Kamina and Venus she would be, but 3rd strongest isn't bad in my book. 
Speaking of Venus, much like her, Ammi has a crush on me, or like Rich likes to say "A major, raging lady boner" for me...
The often like to "fight" for my affection with Venus in silly ways, like making me breakfast or dinner, giving me should massages, and being a little flirty with me.
Great, because dealing with only one of my Pokemon teammates having a crush on me... Oh well, at least they don't get too serious about it.
As a Pokemon Ranger, Ammi is also a great asset to my team, the fact that she can transform and disguise herself as a human to fool any criminals we come across, that and she can detect anyone who is hurt near by with her psychic powers.
I know is maybe wrong for me to not tell her about how she was born and where she came from, but I'd hate to wipe that smile off her sweet face; but something tells me she already knows, I mean she is psychic.
But, I know she knew I didn't tell her not to make her sad and she appreciates the fact I care that much.
She is an airhead sometimes, but I love Ammi all the same.
