Kamek The Wise

He's an evil Koopa Wizard!

So finally we moved on to an character in the Super Mario AU cast that I was meaning to get to for awhile.
This is my alternate universe interpretation of Kamek.
For those who don't know, Kamek made his first appearance in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island as the main villain who stole Baby Luigi away from Baby Mario; he was one of the first Magikoopas to be be named within the series.
As the Mario franchise continued, Kamek was shown to act as Bowser's right hand man/advisor.
He also serves as a Stepfather/Godfather to Bowser seeing how the previous Koopa King and/or Koopa Queen are never seen nor mentioned.
He is also considered a "Grandfather" to Bowser Jr.

In Super Mario AU, Kamek more or less serves the same role as when Bowsy's parents died he served as the new temporary Koopa King until Bowsy was old enough to take the crown and become Queen.
Because of his rank in the Koopa Troop, Kamek is "2nd in command" thanks to his age and experience.
He still acts as Bowsy's father and acts as the royal advisor to her, always making sure each choice she makes is a good one and making sure Bowsy keeps her cool.
Kamek is the strongest and one of the oldest Magikoopa in the Koopa Troop as many new Magikoopas on training have to be taught by him when it comes to witchcraft and wizardry.
To his apprentice Azeraiel Koopa, he sees him as the son he never had.
Now for Kamek's design I had went through three different designs.
At first, I made him way too old, like rickety rocking chair, then I made him far too young like he couldn't possibly be considered as wise old man.
This design came to me after I was watching some Lord of the Rings as I liked the way the wizards like Gandalf and Saruman looked, sure they are old, but they don't look like senile old men.
So I did the same for Kamek as well as giving his robe a more detailed look while still looking like the classic Magikoopa blue mage robes.
I was going to give him a wizard's hat, but another character I'm going to draw later already has a hat similar to a wizard's hat, so I gave him long grey hair with white streaks in it.
For his age, I think Kamek would be around the age range of late 60s to early 70s, so he is old, be he isn't a fossil.
As a finally note, I added "The Wise" to Kamek's name to give him more "elegance" to his name, as many wizards have a "title" with their names.

I'm very happy with the way Kamek turned out, as he looks great in his robe and staff I gave him.
That and he doesn't look too bad for an old man considering his age.
